More Thoughts About Actions After September 11, 2001 by David Bancroft

Welcome to NetNacs! first regular issue . . . which was delayed by its special issue covering the tragic and still mind numbing terrorist acts to the United States on September 11, 2001.

And while I will briefly overview NetNacs! . . . first, I am compelled to express a few thoughts about what has taken place since the September 14, 2001 issue.

I applaud all the leaders and people of the nations, who have condemned the hateful acts and are supporting the United States in an International coalition to eradicate global reaching terrorism.  The support from Russia and China are particularly encouraging . . . as even a symbolic gesture could mean for better communication and understanding in areas that disagreement still remains strong.

Then there is the man, who every American should be proud to call . . . our President!  He has shown the world how one should lead under the most trying circumstances.  You see it in his eyes, you hear it in his voice, and you know it in your heart . . . that he is resolute and focused in his commitment to do what must be done to protect the citizens of the United States and all other nations who suffer from terrorism.  (Any doubters should go back and closely listen to President Bush's address to the nation and world on September 20th.)

Moreover, I think President Bush would quickly redirect any praise in his direction to the dead heroes who brought down the plane in Pennsylvania and who tried to rescue the innocents in the two towers along with all involved in the search and recovery in both cities, Mayor Guiliani, and Governor Pataki.  (Another mark of true leadership!)

Okay, now about NetNacs! . . . It is our intent to provide interesting and informative articles and stories that for the most part will be related to the Internet, but will stray into other technology and offline events that are felt its readers would appreciate knowing.  In fact, Helpful Hints lists links and phone numbers of charity and key contacts related to September 11, 2001.

And please feel free to email the respective editor of each area to suggest and/or contribute a story or article.

Let justice prevail . . . leading to a safer world for all!
