Before I start my Perspective and on behalf of the NetNacs! staff . . . Heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to the families and friends of the seven astronauts (Colonel Rick Husband, Lt. Colonel Michael Anderson, Commander Laurel Clark, Captain David Brown, Commander William McCool, Dr. Kalpana Chawla, and Ilan Ramon, colonel in the Israeli Air Force) of the space shuttle Columbia, who tragically lost their lives on February 1, 2003 in pursuit of bettering mankind.

I have reached my limit with political grand standing about what to do to protect the national security of the United States and every other country related to terrorism, Iraq, and North Korea!
It even seems that some politicians are motivated more about winning the next election regardless of real legitimate differences. Where do honesty and the facts bridge common ground for the good of all with these people?
I just cannot accept the premise of purposely creating a divisive atmosphere when it is nothing about what is best for the citizens. Now, add the manipulated beliefs of those under repressive regimes to this global mix of opinions . . . It is enough to give one a migraine headache!
Yikes . . . I am already starting to experience prism vision.
Wait a minute . . . that might be the only way to look at national security and other world events. So, it comes down to who can see best through the prism . . . like intelligence assets and satellite photos . . . then analyzing properly to make an informed decision.
Well, here is what I want . . . the best solution that helps to prevent the greatest loss of life and injury . . . sadly understanding that it might mean using force in Iraq to prevent the potential use of its chemical and biological weapons on innocent citizens in other countries by direct means or through terrorists. And I say this knowing a certain U.S. Marine is being deployed overseas.
Just a shame that fighting for freedom, peace, and safety is still necessary at times!
