Australian Con-man To Write Autobiography Peter Foster, who has greatly embarrassed Cherie and U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair with his involvement and so-called assistance in their private real estate purchases, has apologised to the Blairs and announced he is to write a book about his life, including his experiences with the Prime Minister's wife. Foster asked to be left in peace to finish his autobiography, which can be counted on to reveal "a rounder version of events from, perhaps, a slightly cooler perspective than is possible at the moment". Foster also claimed no-one has ever lost money through his enterprises, even though he has been jailed three times for fraud in various countries. Foster is still wanted in Australia for losing a large amount of money in a franchise scam involving the Biometrics slimming brand. Not only did a number of franchise owners lose a lot of money, but Donna Moscardo, a single mother with two children, who unwisely trusted Foster, lost her marketing company and was forced into bankruptcy by Foster's actions. Foster, who left his mother holding the bag for the Biometrics disaster, absconded to the U.K. and has been fighting extradition to Australia from London. There are a number of people who would like Peter to come home. Unfortunately for Mr. Foster, it is mainly the police, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commissioner, numerous government prosecutors, and all the people who didn't lose any money through his enterprises. See you all in the next issue! Ian McPherson |
